Realm River

As told by Nal'Draken

The Realm River is this massive cosmic or cellestial river that flows between the Cardinal Realms Askana, the Neverwinter Realm, Zydra, the Realm of Everlasting Swamp, Dezitar, the Crackled Desert Realm, and Xeto, the Arcane Bamboo Realm. I've not been to Xeto or Dezitar as of yet, but I hear they're nice.
Anyway, I've only traveled down the Realm River a few times and most of those times I never want to go back, because of that damned serpent.

Geography

The Realm River is better describes as pathways for ships to travel on. The Rivers themselves are a vast and ever connecting network of freezing cold water, never fall in that water. It's not fun. But the River doesn't look like ordinary river as it is made of space itself, it is a cosmic stream that has to be traversed on, like I said before, specially made ships for this purpose.

Ecosystem

The area around the Realm River is nothing but pure black. The only color that is visible for the passing, is the Realm River itself. When I first noticed this I didn't think much of it, but then it got weirder and weirder as the passage to Zydra came closer and closer.
When passing through another Realm there's a shimmer around you and all you can see ahead is the realm while behind you is just a black void where the River ends.

Fauna & Flora

The only fauna that is there isn't even something you can eat, it eats you! It's the Realm River Serpent, Terrena, bloody obnoxious that one.

Tourism

There are heavy currents that occur in the Realm River, but that was a tell tale sign that the damned serpent was going to show. There is also air in the Realm River space, which was stange considering there was no breeze at all. When I traveled down the Realm River each time, there was someone using a spell to do it.
