Logan Laeventeinn is a Norwegian Pyromancer and a primary protagonist of the Blade Academy series. He is a member of the Class of Sirius, and is friends with Anne Strautenvausse, Wyn Tanner, Autumn Springer and Rick Chayim.

History

Logan was born to Holly Laeventeinn

and the Renoan King of Wrath Mengos Bol

in Newfoundland, Canada on October 31, 2000. He first attended Erik's Fire Pyromancy Academy, where he met his best friend Rick Chayim, an aspiring Kinesiomancer who took after his father for a liking to working out. Logan followed in his footsteps and worked out to get stronger. Eventually, his mother accumulated enough money to move to western New York, so they moved to Niagara Falls, NY, for it's close proximity to Blade Academy, where Logan began attending when he was 14. He began to shape up as a potential class leader, except that he struggled in some parts of academics, which robbed him of the title.

Magical Skills

Logan practices Pyromancy, where Mana is converted to a very flammable compound, such as nitromethane or acetone, which ignites above -4 degrees Fahrenheit. Meanwhile, the extra thermal energy emitted near the Pyromancer's body is absorbed by a Mage's Aura and converted into Mana energy, creating a feedback loop of energy. This is done to provide a constant stream of energy and to protect the caster from burns. It is one of the most unstable magic types, as Mages need to train both their Aura's energy absorption and the emission of combustible compounds.

Logan has a large Renoan sigil on his torso, signifying that he is property of the King of Wrath Mengos Bol, his father.

Logan commonly wears red clothes, most notably his flaming red baseball tee. He also wears a bracelet from his first school, Erik's Fire Pyromancy Academy.

Logan wields his family heirloom, Razor, an Old Norse sword, possibly a late design for the Ulfberht sword, from his ancestor, who sailed with Leif Erikson to America.
