Ēbirus Tadāgus

The world as we know it is no more. Ravaged by bombs and plagues, the human race was almost completely wiped out. But suddenly, the Apostles came and achieved enlightenment, pulling the dejected race from the ashes of their old world. They created Elixir, the near-magical substance that heals even the worst of wounds, and makes young even the oldest and feeblest. The Apostles rose to power, and united the world under one government. As this new government grew and repaired itself, its tendrils spread to the nearby planets. Thanks to the Elixir’s power, humans settled previously inhospitable worlds, and the growing empire grew. In the upper echelons of society, men live like gods. Cybernetic enhancements preserve and empower their bodies, turning normal men into near superhumans. The underclass watches from below with awe, and happily served these masters. They are not gifted like their masters, nor do they have the affluence, but they strive faithfully nevertheless. Loyalty and hard work is the method for survival, and placing the needs of the society over the needs of the one is the ideology to which each citizen must hold. Only this way can humanity survive.
