Grassland, Taiga, Rain Forrest, and Wetland The layout of Earth’s biomes has shifted dramatically as a result of a climate shift. The land is not what it was in 2030 when humanity was escaping to the underground shelters. Most of the historical events to be chronicled in the histories are major weather and climate struggles. Each Biome will have their own unique living quarters that are specific to the survival within the Biome. There is a ‘capital’ area of the biome where elders, traders, and community happenings take place. There are education centers where oral and written histories are shared.
