Elvenshaper's Rod

This rod is fashioned from oak, ash, and yew wrapped around a marble core, and has been enchanted with elven magic to aid in the permanent shaping of wood and stone. Recovered from a mine in the Badlands by a band of adventurers. (See Drakes & Mines for more).
The rod's history is unclear; the current best guess is that it was obtained from the elves of the Riverwild and used in the mine to aid in excavations.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

Enhance Alteration: Increases the effective level of any spell using the Alteration school of magic to invoke the Transmutation boon on wood or stone by +2, up to a maximum effective level of 7.
