Basic Information
Anatomy
Physically they resemble humans, but humans who are made from Iron, Steel, Bronze, Brass, Wood and precious gems.
They do not eat but must go into a Shutdown mode every sixteen hours, this mode lasts for four hours when they cannot sense anything, they can be forced awake but they will be at penalties until they complete their shutdown period, the penalties increase as they are kept from shutdown, and they must complete each shutdown period to negate this penalty.
After the shutdown they will be able to take action as normal.
They do not breed, how they are made is a mystery at this time.
Biological Traits
Their lifespan is theoretically immortal, height match human variances but weight will be up to twice that of a human of similar build depending on the amount of metal in the construct.
Genetics and Reproduction
No Genetics, no reproductive capacity.
They seem to come from the south of the Island of Aire, and are migrating to Home Town. They come with some training, making them at least first level.
Growth Rate & Stages
Created as a full grown being, they do not age, they do not get sick, but they can be poisoned or affected by chemicals. Alcohol has no effect on them.

They can consume biological material, and drink liquids, but they do not need these to survive. No sense of smell or taste means they get little enjoyment from these actions.

they have mask like faces of wood, steel, or bronze, though they have no impediment to speech they have no lips, their eyes are gems (Sapphire, Amethyst, or Emerald) that glow unless the creature is in shutdown mode.

History
Made before the scouring these beings were a type of wooden Golem used for maintenance and protection by the people of Beris.
In the Thousand years since the scouring the Soulmek have come into being, developing or gaining a soul and with it intelligence and sentience.
Interspecies Relations and Assumptions
They are friendly at first, but will defend themselves, and if treated badly may form hatred of people.
When creating one of these you can use the general rules for Warforged (5th ed D&D), however they can wear armor and do not come with natural armor.

Body Tint, Colouring and Marking
Most are made of rods of wood that have warped into the form of a 'human' body, the wood is of a soft brown hue. Most have traceries of silver or gold etched into the wood, and there are magical sigils embedded in the etching. At their center is a large unidentified crystal about the size of a human heart.
