Morning/Waking Circle, Circle of Greeting the Divine.
The Farmers gathered outside their tents, each of them faced the east and brought their right hand up, palm towards the sun, then they moved their hand in a big circle, to their right, their hips, to their left and back above them, each of them giving a silent prayer to the Gods asking for a good day.
History
According to the gods the morning circle was the special wave that the people gave the gods when those Gods would walk on the world, in those days there was singing and dancing as well.
When the gods stopped walking the world the morning circle became less elaborate, the singing and dancing became words and images in peoples heads.
There are still those who practice the whole ritual, and give the gods all of their attention, but that is considered necessary only for those who rely on the Gods to live. the very ill, or the non traveling Zealot.
Execution
Abbreviated: stand facing the morning sun, raise the right hand to your highest reach, palm towards the sun. Slowly move your hand on an arc to your right, keep the arm fully extended, you may turn the hand for comfort's sake when it is in front of your groin, the back of the hand is then shown on the left side. While this move is made either silently tell the gods what you want the day to be like.
Full:same as the abbreviated, but instead of silently talking to the gods, you sing or chant a scripture, after you have taken the right hand round you do the same with the left hand, again singing or chanting.
Components and tools
no special tools needed for either version.
Participants

Observance
