Personal history
His parents had been slaves but had saved the child of the Parissium owner from a demonic assassin, in thanks the Owners released his parents together, and gave them enough to set themselves up in business.
His Mother had been a Bard, even as a slave, and her talent allowed them to thrive even while his father sold fish at the market.
