whether dark skinned like their forefathers who left the Great Southern plains, or pale as the snow their ancestors lived in, humans have spread with the Empire, and become more dusky skinned as they have. they are the Empire's Staunchest Supporters and most implacable enemies, they serve all sides but feel little kinship with each other if their skin is of different color.
