the Dwarf carries his father's Warhammer, and his toolbox, the Empire needs builders, and the Circle told him he was to go, so he marches under the bright sun to get to the portal which will rip him from this world. He did not hate the Gods, he did hate the Empire though. it was the Empire that killed his Father when they made that dam, right where the local Dwarfs told them not to. Both his parents had died in that dam break, if he had not been visiting with his brother in Mournhold he would have died to. see D&D 5th Edition for more details
