Belsturm

Welcome to the year 2970! In 2520, brave researchers from Earth decided it was time to further their advances in Outer Space exploration. What they found was an inhabitable planet somewhat similar to Earth. A few hundred years later, the new planet has seen progress, decline, wars, and a result of lack of resources. The planet of Belsturm has become the first in the universe to industrialize like no other. With a population of just under two hundred million, the country Cogpoint still makes up twenty percent of the planet’s population as a result of The Great Decline of the Second Millennium. As the Third Millennium approached and passed, the universe came to view Belsturm as a roaring success despite the odds. The lack of usable fossil fuels and sunlight inspired a wave of steam-powered machines and turbines which supply the entire country with power. What the planet lacked was made up by vast amounts of steel, copper, bronze, and a magnitude of sturdy ore located under the planet’s rough surface.
