From the Star Wars Universe: An ice covered planet with craters that are all but tropical due to geothermal activity. According to official Republic records, there is no one there accept a few research teams studying the unique climate(s) and ecosystems caused by unique geothermal system. However, the planet holds one of the Republic's darkest secrets. While exploring the planet ruins were discovered and archeologists discovered beneath was a vast and intact prison from long before the Republic existed. The prisoners within were still secure in their stasis chambers, prisoners from species long forgotten. It was this discovery that led to the Republic building their own prison on the planet and sending some of the most dangerous and violent criminals that could not be executed there, including Sith from the Great Galactic War. The planet has remained a secret through the Cold War for the past 10 years, but somehow the planet has been discovered by the Empire and without warning a full scale attack has erupted on the planet. The Republic, being completely unprepared, is scrambling to send reinforcements while the limited prison staff is trying desperately to keep the prison under control. Imperials are letting out as many prisoners as possible, creating chaos as some of them join up with the Imperials but others band together to attack both Imperial and Republic forces alike.
