Primordial Magic
Primordial Magic is one of the three families of magic. It is based around channeling magic through some sort of ancient entity, as opposed to a soul of some sort. As such, it is the least strenuous magic, despite not being particularly powerful or adaptable. Druidic Magic uses nature to channel magical energy into spells. Meanwhile, Bardic Magic channels magic through music played or sung with large amounts of emotion and charisma.
Compared to other magics, Primordial Magic takes a long time to even learn, as it taps into sources that are inhuman and unalive. Instead of large schools, bards and druids are trained via a mentor-apprentice relationship. However, especially with talented musicians, someone may accidentally unlock the potential of Primordial Magic without a mentor. While difficult to learn, Primordial Magic is much easier to use once learned, with little effort going into the actual casting, meaning that they can cast more spells before having to rest.
Additionally, while most Primordial Magic is similar, the differences between locale of the druid or the genre of the bard can have slight changes on what magic that the casters can use. For example, druids of a forest may have more plant-based spells and bards that play slow music can easily confuse enemies and put them to sleep.
