The La'Shen Gate

The Gate found by the Void Striders in one of the largest ruins of the what appears to be a star city, within the endless jungle, and while it similar to The Mist Gates of the crystal mages, it was noticable different it allow for one gate to be connected to multiple places, via a dialling system.

Utility

The Gate is connected to other gates via dialing in the coordinates of the world or metaphysical plane within the Mists, The coorinates are in 4 dimensions, the standard X, y, Z in the physical space, but also a shift factor of Ʊ, which is still being understood by those researchers who working on it. But it seems worlds have a number of planes laid on top of one another which in some worlds would be called the Shadowfeel or Faewyld, but in others maybe the dreamworld etc. Once you know a location address you can dial it and the gate will connected and you can walk though a short passage and appear on another world.

Manufacturing

Unknown, if the Crystal Mages work it out, it will revolutionise the civilisaiton of Bavo'sand.

Social Impact

Withint he Crystal Mages, discovering they weren't the first people to come up with the gates and paths within the mists is a little concerning, and they still processing that, outside of the Mages and the Void Striders no one else knows this exists yet. But it will bring changes to the society,

Access & Availability

Highly Limited, the Crystal Mages have the place locked down and almost no one knows about the gate discovery.

Complexity

Beyond the kend of the people of Bavo'sand at the moment, but as some similar traits to the more simple mist gates that they already use. Maybe some connection between the two systems, but not one that anyone talking about yet.

Discovery

Found during the Great Expedition by the Void Striders lead by Shard and Robin in the depths of a large section of since turned out to be a cityship of the La'shen.
