Yōkai

Yōkai is the Kusanagian term for beasts with human traits leftover from those corrupted by chaotic Mana. Depending on the severity of the situation, most Yōkai only come out with inheriting small animalistic traits such as ears, horns, etc.

The unfortunate ones are completely transformed, losing their sense of self and falling to madness. Many flock to Bilgewater to reside in peace, or are lucky enough to be born within civilized borders as natural citizens.

Becoming a Yōkai increases your lifespan by nearly twice or triple of the normal human lifespan.
