The Fated Survivor

A simple village dewller in the small fishing hamlet of Kallen, who took care of other orphaned children in a local Orphanage, led by a supposedly kind priest. The real reason why the orphanage existed was to harvest fresh organs from the children, as offerings for the Noxus cult. After they found out the truth, the priest revealed his true intentions and called for the village to be destroyed under the guise that it was unfortunately raided by bandits, an all too common fate for many villages in Lower Kusanagi.

The Reader eventually awakened their dormant magical powers through extreme psychological stress, but only at half power. After doing so, they committed the infamous legend known as the “Kallen Incident”, where he single handedly slaughtered the entire raiding party plus the priest that betrayed him.

Eventually, they found the children who were being held captive in an underground prison. Each of them were being kept alive via the highly illegal black magic known as Necromancy. With no other choice with their weapon completely shattered, they took it upon themselves to strangle them all to death to grant them a blissful rest.

Crimson Butterflies are said to be the messengers of death, which are the imprints of marks left on a human neck after being strangled to death. The last half of their powers was awakened, and the first sighting of Crimson Butterflies was spotted that day.
