A blacksmith turned elite swordswoman who roams the outskirts of Lower Kusanagi, slaughtering all bandits she comes across. Her kill count is in the thousands. She wears a reinforced porcelain mask while ‘hunting'. Aquila was born into the Senju family, a line of blacksmiths who masquerade in the night as the Crow's, oathsworn warriors who's one sole duty is to purge the lands of evil with lethal force. Their blood is considered 'blessed', and any blade with blood infused into the metal is reinforced with heavenly properties.



Despite her bloodline and prodigious skill as a blacksmith, Aquila despied her families history, as it brought nothing but lies and deceit to herself and everyone around her who was only willing to stick around for a blessed blade. Being much more skilled as a warrior, Aquila was set to allow the families history to continue with her younger sister, Shinya Senju.

However, tragedy struck as bandits raided her hometown and took her younger sister for ransom. She was locked into her room by her parents, unwilling to risk their last remaining child to potentially become fodder for banditry and ransom. After picking the lock and escaping her estate, she managed to track the bandits down.

Unfortunately, she arrived far too late and realized that the bandits had enough of waiting and simply killed her after having their sick way with her. In a frenzied rage fueled by her ‘blessed’ blood, Aquila slaughtered all of them with extreme prejudice. She left them alive in a barely conscious state, before stringing them up on wooden poles and smearing their battered bodies with nearby pig shit. Aquila spent the entire day torturing them to death, before they all eventually died of wound infection. After beheading their corpses and sticking them onto pikes, Aquila buried her younger sister in an unknown location only she knows, cutting all ties with her family. She exiled herself from her hometown, becoming the infamous Tyrant.

Aquila’s fighting style relies on feinting her attacks, intentionally taking hits to bait the enemy into a false counterattack. This is incredibly risky, but if done right the results are phenomenal.
Her signature technique is the Tyrant Technique: Mirage Slash - 蜃気創痕
Creates an invisible cut in the air that has been suspended in time. Once Aquila taps the bottom of the hilt on her katana, the cut moves forward in time that makes it almost impossible to dodge.
