Mark of Truth

The Mark of Truth is a relic brought to Bastille by Luphilia Othoram in DR1492 during the The Great Ingress. The relics origins are unknown but it has since become an integral part of life within Bastille. The Relic bestows the Endowment also referred to as the Mark onto the right hand of every child born within Bastille.

Mechanics & Inner Workings

The Mark of Truth is a powerful relic that is used to stunt the growth of the magical weave within its target. It uses a binds the magical signature within its target at the point in time that the relic encounters it. The Mark of Truth then makes a geometric symbol that represents the pattern of the weave and puts it into stasis. The mark then reveals itself on the hand of the target. Magic will no longer function within the target until the Mark is removed by the Mark of Truth.
