Black Gorge

The Black Gorge is a deep ravine that runs along the entire side of the Shattergleam district. What little metal can be found within Bastille is harvested here. Mining in the open pits of the Black Gorge is dangerous. The constant flow of water that courses through it is unpredictable and restless. Over the years the miners have developed a method of working with this current rather than against it. They harness its strength and use it to their advantage. With the brazen and ceaseless current they have found that it aids in the process of puddling the slag from iron and crushing and grinding copper. And the mud slides help to compress and concentrate the materials further before they are wiped clean and prepared for distribution.
