Welcome to a land familiar yet foreign. Inviting yet ominous. Scenic yet dreary. In this land separated from what you once knew you will venture forth to uncover the mystery of the mists. Welcome to Mists of Barovia. A finite land mass the size of a small county. The outer rim of this land is surrounded by a mist wall that cannot be penetrated. No one knows what came before, the land or the mist, so no one knows what's on the other side. Despite being small it has varied land forms, from mountain peaks to swampy mires. This plays host to a high influx of different creatures and beings both friend and foe.
