Pre-Radiant Cataclysm Campaign
The middle of the three brothers. At the young age of 68, he was recruited by the army to serve in their navy fleet. During this time he took the rite of passage where he was granted the power of citrine.
Upon his release from service he sought out the gathering and joined their ranks of inventors and mechanics. During his century of study, he learn how to control and manipulate time as a chonomancer. His ability to reverse time came quite handy when inventing many different steam engines.
Having run into his older brother who was now a captain in the Navy fleet, he decided to return back to his home town to see if he could further his practice. Upon returning home on his brother's vessel, he witness the impoverished state that his birthplace had fallen into, due to the lack of trade and travel from the main land. During this time, a lot of humans from the capital of Snow Spire had tried to establish a town on the seaside cliffs. The other selkies had taken to trading their raw goods for more refine pleasures that the town had offered them.
He decided to open up a workshop within the town and try to use his knowledge in helping the people there. Having observed their struggles in trying to haul lumber from the forest to the town, Nefilhime created a steam powered vehicle that could haul wood with the power of 20 horses. He also went on to develop a small pedestrian steam powered boat to help with the travel between the main land and the island. With these small inventions (and a little help from his older brother) they had brought the attention of the capital of Nepfirin. Soon schools were developed along with a proper trade port. Nepfirin had allowed the protection of the Sapphire family and turned the small human village into the town of Deniamu.
During this time Nefilhime had fallen in love with a human woman and took her as his mate. He decided to turn his workshop into an inn so he could better house and support his family. The town then started to become a thriving Selkie village and their customs and traditions slowly started to shape the town. Many humans left back to Snow Spire but the few who remained quickly adapted to the new way of life. At the age of 210 he was blessed with a baby girl, his Inn had already grown and quickly became a profitable business. His youngest brother who had returned home as one of the town's assigned guards, is a frequent patron of his establishment.
Radiant Cataclysm Campaign
His life turned into a nightmare at the death of his beloved wife, fortunately his daughter survived the undead attack on town. He left his daughter Lirì in the care of his little brother so he could take the proper observed time to mourn the passing of his wife Arina. During this time there was some strange situations happening within the town.
Apart from the increased activity of undead, the village guards started to act more like a criminal organization than a public law enforcement service. This didn't seem to bother Nefilhime much since he knew his brother Nuthilhédh was also a guard and was able to protect Lirì even in his alcoholic ways. Everything seemed to be normal until a ragtag group entered his inn one night. He had made a bet with Nuthilhédh out of fun that he couldn't pick up the first woman who entered through the inns' doors. Fortunately he was partially correct but this group then exposed the village's ugly side.
To his dismay he had discovered that his daughter Lirì, had in fact died the same night as his wife. The insane mayor believing that Nefilhime was part of a fictitious organization called spies on tractors, had assumed the dead daughter's form and hid her body in a cave far from town.
The group, along with Nefilhime, had set out to recover the dead daughter's body. Upon retrieval, he laid her to rest in tradition Selkie fashion. Having lost everything, he had taken the opportunity to return back to the Capital to serve as the royal adviser to his newly crowned brother Nuthilhédh.
