Morgareis, God of Death

Those unfamiliar often confuse Morgareis with Exisheiin, the god of destruction. These two gods however, are not one in the same. Exisheiin is a creation of Kortera that governs the destruction on natural things and the undoing of mistakes, he is the very concept of destruction. Morgareis however, is specific to the death of living beings and souls being carried over to the afterlife.

Morgareis is one of the two first gods made by Quitala. Morgareis duty is to cause as much death in the world as possible to fulfill Quitala's dream of silence. Morgareis is known to have corrupted Kiretum and convinced her to create many things that brought about death, and when so much death presented itself there came a need to do something with all the souls wandering Azixuma and so Morgareis created the afterlife as a place to keep the souls.

He is known by many names; "The Grim Lion", "He Who Finds Beauty in Death" and "The King of a Cruel Afterlife". He is depicted as a human man with wavy black hair reaching his shoulders and a black beard. He has white eyes and wears a large, black cloak over a crimson, belted tunic and white pants.
