The 3rd main Age of Azaria history. After the defeat of the Celestial Creatures, the now-united Azaria begins to rebuild and progress in art, technology and culture after almost four centuries of stagnation. Half a century later, people find that chance glances and shared feelings for certain people lead to strange ill effects. As this becomes more common, the phenomenon is called 'The Binding'. The Goddess religion also takes shape and starts to spread, supplanting the worship of the Celestial Creatures.

Gathering / ConferenceFiona is accidentally Bound (Eliza age 12) to Lord Ozier and leaves home to live in Estovan with him. Ryan stumbles across Helena Gladier’s journal which mentions the Goddess Jewel. His father confiscates it before he can read too much. However during a noble party Lord Balthanders is able to get his hands on it and learns that the Goddess Jewel is in the Glenford’s possession. Lord Balthanders places Hakon in charge of the Order of Amaranth. He convinces the King that the jewel is dangerous and needs safekeeping, so the King tasks Lady Navinka with getting it out of the Glenford’s possession discretely.
