Viens
The Port City and capital of the kingdom. Very important for sea trade and the home of the navy. It was a major target for Esturia who wanted that sweet sweet trade but Viens has never been taken over, though it has suffered many battles. Thus it is the most fortified city in Azaria. It is where the current monarch resides along with the Arch Priest, the head of the Church of the Goddess.
After Azaria won the war, Viens blossomed into a huge city and started to rival Begara in terms of its innovation and academies. The friendly rivalry continues to the modern day. It was however very exclusionary.
It was destroyed in the tsunami that wiped out the neibouring continent Bayaan, but it was then rebuilt from the ground up so very little of the original buildings remain. It required a lot of external labour for this and thus the previous exclusivity and snobbish attitudes reduced a lot. Viens however is still known for its snobbery though as it looks down on the other cities (not so much due to skin colour anymore but due to achievements).
Its Guardsmen wear navy and rust uniforms.
Defences
High city walls, manned gates and sea cannons
Industry & Trade

Infrastructure
Has a mixture of canals and streets like Estovan, also prestigious Academy Buildings and the royal palace.
Guilds and Factions
The Academy has the most clout politically, over the merchants and Guardsmen
History
The Port City and capital of Azaria. Very important for sea trade and the home of the navy. Has been a major target for Esturia who want that sweet sweet trade but has never been taken over, though it has suffered many battles as it’s a relatively clear path from south Esturia straight to it. Is thus the most fortified city in Azaria. After Azaria won the war of the Age of Darkness, Viens blossomed into a huge city and started to rival Begara in terms of its innovation and academies. The friendly rivalry continues to the modern day. It was however very exclusionary and racist.
Was all but destroyed in the tsunami that wiped out Bayaan, but was rebuilt from the ground up so very little of the original buildings remain. It required a lot of external labour for this and thus the exclusivity and snobbish attitudes reduced a lot. Viens however is still known for its snobbery though as it looks down on the other cities (not so much due to skin colour anymore but due to its own achievements).
Its Guardsmen wear navy and rust uniforms, and their leader in Eliza’s time is Field-Marshall Jennifer Harris.
Loses its capital status after the Magician coup and Begara becomes the new capital.
Architecture
Mostly stone, metal and glass. Buildings retain a more traditional look, compared to Begara who is more modern
Geography
Built beside the river Estor as it flows into the Border Sea
Natural Resources
Wood from the Estor forest, imports from Estovan
