Dhjerba Goddess Shrine

Unfortunately the original temple was completely destroyed around four hundred years ago in an uprising where the Esturians, now under Azarian rule, tried to rebel. Given the extensive damage, the shrine was remodelled into a cathedral, whose walls use the original stone and carvings.

Purpose / Function

Built to house libraries of lost knowledge, but when they fell to ruin became dedicated to the Goddess

Alterations

It now survives as a cathedral with the original carvings and decor forming the inside, but it has no ring passages now.

Architecture

Transformed into a cathedral after it's destruction from the failed Esturian rebellion, and now houses a large silver dome.

History

Built by House Gladier to become new libraries of knowledge to help replace what was lost during the Age of Darkness. Alas after the fall and demise of the House, the shrines fell to ruin and became historical landmarks dedicated to the Goddess.
