4GET has been popular for generations. It is known that in the complex there are 68 levels. But, all serious contestants and all serious fans know the rumour about the Hidden Level.
Ask yourself these questions....
Why do contestants who delve the deep levels frequently suffer from disorientation?
How long has 4GET been delivering entertainment services?
Why are the maps of the complex poor quality?
How is it that the deeper levels are still enshrouded by the shadows of in-civility?
These are just a few of the questions that are quietly discussed amongst those who take 4GET and what it is, seriously.
And, as always for every question there are a seemingly infinite amount of possible answers. Theories, conspiracy theories, creation theories, chemical theories, and book theories and perhaps children stories.
In the Hidden Level .....
Is the heart of the Abomination. A pulsating boil of shadow and evil, forever growing.... spilling out it's corruption to crawl up from the deeper darkness with the intention of subsuming all law, order and civilization. It is the Contestant's honoured duty to seek out this level and destroy the darkness with Her light.
Are the leaders of the Outcasts. From the darkness of the Hidden Level, these inherently Divergent creatures train, plot and work to undermine all that has been created during the Restoration. It is the Contestant's honoured duty to seek out this level and challenge the Divergent heart.
Is the last enemy of the Devouring Mother, the Unnamed Chaos. Protected by the earth, protected by darkness, and protected by the weakness of Her citizens, or their curiosity, or love. The Unnamed Chaos seeks any way to corrupt Her Light. Waiting.
Is the home of the Collector. An immortal being who captures Contestants, transforms them, breeds them and sends out their spawn to retrieve more Contestants. It is the duty of every Contestant to find the home of the Collector, the Zoo, and burn that home with the light of the Devouring Mother.
Or not.
Those are some of the more creative theories about the Hidden Level, there are dozens of more mundane or prosaic ideas ranging from vast hordes of treasure and Ancient Wisdom, to dens and nests of savage monsters.
All of them do one thing, draw loyal citizens to the depths of 4GET.
The Hidden Level may not even exist. It is after all more myth and romour than fact. No evidence that it exists has ever been retrieved. No person has ever set foot on it. No one has ever returned, if they have ever found it. And, no one... no organization has record of it, survivors of it, creatures from it ... or anything at all of it.
