Feb 2023 - Bestiary Challenge
This is a list of the articles that I have created for this challenge:

Creating creatures for Az-Atla is interesting, because always in the back of my head I have the question - "Why is this species of creature still alive?" Az-Atla is a 50,000 year old empire, on one continent. We're not talking a solar system, a dyson sphere or a galactic empire. Nope this is one content, that has been effectively occupied by one tyranical entity for 50,000 years.
I had to make a special island, to 'store' those creatures that Game Master's might want to play with, that would be considered 'too' against the Will of the Devouring Mother.
I realized that while I may be obsessed with the why that a species exists, that reason could simply because they fullfil a nature niche role, or it could be a dystopian as their cerebral fluid is harvested for beverages. And, what I should be doing is not filling in these blanks at all, but attempting to create species of things that are so engaging, Game Masters and players want there to be more to them. They want to make them more then what I've started.
So, it is the case that Az-Atla is filled with every type of normal and expected type of creature, the beasts collected here in the Index NattĂșTaiulik are those animals that could be considered problematic or a distinctly different varition on the typical expectation.
[br[ And then there is the Abomination. This is an interesting piece for me, because I really wanted to give space for a horror genre deep mystery type story to Az-Atla. But, I also didn't want to explain too much. Certainly, I have in my mind how Abomination works, but every other person is just as creative as me.
