Hylia
Before Drakenhal, before the Five Heroes, before tales of humans and elves was the kingdom of hyrule. A world governed by the predecessors of humans known as the Hylians. These Hylians worshipped their patron goddess, Hylia, the ultimate light. Since these long lost days, she has lost much of her influence as many of her followers have simply passed on, eventually fading into far memory. The few who follow her are devout, known as the Paladins of Hylia, with the most well known of these Paladins being Oxanor, one of the five legendary heroes. Followers of Hylia believe that a portion of her deific spirit resides in a princess known as Zelda, whose wearabouts are unknown. Much of Hylia's power was lost in a battle against an ancient evil and the incarnation of darkness, Demise. Part of this darkness still manifests itself in a mortal, with the last 'host' to be considered Drakenhal, the Dread Lord of Dragons.
