Mmamat

Mmamats, or magically manipulatable materials, are a class of materials used in construction and engineering that are semiconductors for magic. What sets them apart from other semiconductors, however, is that some residual particles from the magic are trapped inside the material. One enough of these particles are trapped inside, they change the physical composition of the material, allowing it to be manipulated by magic in such a way that it can change its shape.
Imbuing mmamats with magic, however, is very expensive and energy inefficient. Mmamat producers will rent out space from governments and large corporations that are conducting large tests so that the mmamats can absorb the residual particles of the experiment.
