After its discovery, research went into developing Recognition Circles for inscription and brought forth the __ Era.
Bloodlines
It is believed that Magic Recognition Theory is the cause of
Bloodlines. Creatures with an extremely high capability for magic will give off more magic radiation. Prolonged exposure to the radiation will result in the identifying information contained within it to modify one’s genetic code.
Spiritual Bodies
A spiritual body is believed to be a condensed body of magic with a large amount of identifying information. The most common example of this are the Skeljudi, beings of pure magic.
As Skeljudi develop, they eventually gain a consciousness of their own. This shows that identifying information can consist of more than just genetic code, but cognitive abilities as well.
Similarly, there have been a few cases in which strong magical beasts have condensed their magic into a form that allows them to mingle with humanoid society.
