The Morning After Report

General Summary

They wake up to a peaceful Myth Vaenor and after breakfast, they decide to head back to Floriburg. They return the horses and head back to the ship. They are approached by a human man named Dudley Byron. He was part of the crew of The Matapan, but was sick when it last left this port and thus had to stay. They should have been back already. He is worried because the were to go to Avestaer and pick up some stuff over at Dara'Thica right around the time Velsharoon was there. Why he came to the Tortle's Hind is because Brent recently became part of The Matapan's crew... They calm the man down and Brandeth sends a message to Brent with the Sending spell. She asks if he and the crew are okay and where the ship is and that Esseria says she hates him. He responds by saying he is fine but captured, the crew is turned and the ship is gone. The rest of the words he uses to apologize to Esseria once again. They explain to Dudley how his entire crew, except for Brent is now undead. Welp. Brandeth and Goradaar look for a blacksmith to purchase some full plate armor. The city's blacksmith has a piece of plate armor ready with a Chauntea design. He just thought of it someday and decided to make it. Which is weird because he usually just makes (farming) tools and nails... huh... He refers Goradaar to either Avestaer or Dara'Thica as he will have more like finding armor is his size there. Flind and Ratchet wait for the evening and head to The Blooming Rose, Vaenor's Maskarran brothel. They do their little thing to get inside and enter a room similar to the one on Avestear, but smaller. It has a small bar with the kitchen attached a few tables with benches that are empty and doors leading to the bedrooms. They ask if they could get an appraisal for some stuff they found and he refers them to the big door in the center leading to the boss' room. They enter and introduce themselves. The boss introduces himself as Rovin. After some negotiation, they get 750 GP for the malachite mask. The board is quiet empty only one old flyer remains. It's a mission to retrieve a family heirloom (pumpkin necklace) from miss Galbassi. She's a landowner that loans the land to farmers and they pay taxes to be allowed to farm there. It's a stupid system, but it isn't illegal so she's free to do so. The farmers don't have much choice since there is a limited amount of farmland.
