Avenan

Avenan is a strange world. Existence is dirt, stone and other materials excluding a massive air pocket within it. Inside of this pocket, life eventually sprouting. With it, the mysterious sun Mro emerged, a bright sphere in the center of the pocket, filling the rest of the pocket with brightness.   Life sprung forth, evolving into humanoid creatures and other sentient creatures. They quickly developed the world, filling with creations that the majority fell into our category of "steampunk ".   These creatures slowly discovered a magic they could control. There were two major types of magic, motion and luck. Both when used would have side affects, like headaches, nausea and vertigo for motion magic. Luck magic was different, however. Each individual had a certain amount of luck at their birth, unchangeable for the most part. Luck magic made fortunate things happen for those who had more of it, with the side affect of an equal amount of bad luck coming back to haunt them.   There are other types of magic as well, although those far less common and require training and effort, unlike how everyone has a set amount of their luck and motion magic.
