General Summary
- group leaves Wahah Tisit and heads off into the desert
- first few days pass without incident
- on the fourth day they encounter a caravan
- giant vultures are circling it
- no survivors - animals, traders, guards, all dead
- no bodies of a possible attacker remains
- though all the guards & one of the traders look like they have fought, almost none of them have blood on their weapons
- seem to have been killed by blades, mostly, and some magical dmg
- where transporting metal ingots and cloth
- most everything seemed to still be there - aside from few items in the 'metal wagon'
- found small ingot of unfamiliar metal
- bronze-ish colour with pearlescent sheen
- not magical itself, but magic adjacent
- surprisingly light
- reacts to magic cast on/around it -> takes on the school of magic of it
- seems to be a conductor for magic
- takes on body heat, but takes a little bit longer than other metal
- a few days without incidents
- day 12 (2 days from wasde): group encounters a patrol of Imperial Guards, warning them about the routes becoming more dangerous. Group informs them of the slaughtered caravan
- Essa gets slightly... lost.
- party stumbles over weird out of place statue
- figure of a humanoid
- wearing a crown (broken off, can't see exactly what it looks like)
- making a hand gesture, that Essa doesn't recognize the meaning off
- statue seems to be really old
- stone doesn't seem to belong in the area (different stone from the surroundings)
- a lot of details are worn away by sand, but there are still scales and slitted eyes recognizable
- part of the statue has been very strangely cleanly cut off/severed
- cut off seems to be newer than the statue itself, and part of the damaged part is beneath the sand
- group reaches Wasde after 2 days
- Essa heads to the tavern/inn to ask around about the statue
- some of the youths tend to go out to the statue
- has only been there for two or three years (probably two)
- appeared during one of the magical storms
- Khafra asks around about lone travellers coming through
- it isn't advisable to travel alone, or even with just two people
- an older gentlemen and an orcish lady came through Wasde two days prior to the group
- wasn't talkative, came late, left early
- he looked like he had money
- decide to stay two nights to recover from the journey so far
- Essa talks to some teen about the statue
- there are more statues a bit from there, but don't look like a yuan-ti
- one of the statue is broken and unrecognizable
- another one is (probably) a statue of Eyar
- the third one is probably a statue of the Decayed one
- Essa spends the day talking with the teens (Alfons, Beatrice & Fareen), they're asking her a lot of questions, curious about anything she can tell them
- Galan ask around about occult things and visions, but people only point him to Portcall again
- head off in the morning of their 16th day on the road
