Kingdom of Thaeden

Sealed off from the rest of the continent by a massive mountain range and the Wastes, Thaeden has had a mostly steady rule. Sure, there are uprisings and naysayers under every rule, but the people here are of a sturdy nature. They are proud of their heritage and willing to fight to keep the creatures from the Wastes and the reaching hand from Kator at bay.

Kator Empire

The land, now known as Kator Empire, has known upheaval and unrest like none other on this continent. Warlords ruling, cities rising and falling, persecution of magic, revolts and civil war - they have seen it all.
For the last hundred years though, the Sorcerer-King Eguleus has ruled with an iron fist, steadily expanding his territory from Wahah Bursaid and his Pillar of Eternity to encompass the entire Gihuela Desert and the Zagonda Steppes - though he has his eyes on the neighbouring countries as well.

Qithed’s Nexus

The Dragon Qithed the Magnificent reigns in her land that she calls her ‘Nexus of Knowledge’ both over and under the mountains. Though Dwarves make up the biggest part of her people, she welcomes all those that seek and bring knowledge. She regards all those that dwell within the mountains as part of her hoard of knowledge.

Iedria

Iedra is a country of open plains, mild weather and mild temper. They like to keep their noses out of other people’s business, and instead prefer to focus on their crafts and their trade. In recent times rumours of ghosts plaguing settlements and undead rising from their graves have started to spread.

Ushein

Not technically a country, Ushein is a confederation of several smaller provinces, each lead by the heads of their noble houses.
Though similar in their mild weather to Iedria and close to them in trade, Ushein doesn’t show much of Iedria’s mild temper. It’s not unusual that the Head of a noble house changes, often under unexplained circumstances. It has also born witness to the massacre of Yathana and the marine battle that has been coined ‘The Night of the Red Sea’. Ever since then they’ve had a very uneasy and unspoken truce with Kator.

Kingdom of Waba

A hot and humid country, covered by lush jungles, beautiful beaches, the Kingdom of Waba has been ruled by the sovereign Midam Caham. They are some of the most open towards those of different races, though the Sovereign also maintains a strong military and prides themselves in their well trained city guards. Though Waba’s people have known stability and safety - aside from some attacks from the sea - for many years now, the childless sovereign is not getting any younger. Many worry what a war of succession might mean for the country.

The Wastes and beyond the Crystal Wall

No one really remembers if there ever was a time when the Wastes were not the Wastes. They used to be smaller though, on that the people agree. Unnatural creatures roam these lands, demons and others lay in wait to attack those who are stupid enough to wander into these plains. Its border is made up by mountain-like crystals, which have risen like an impenetrable wall. No one knows, what lies beyond it. Or at least, no one shares any knowledge they might have.

Doalosa Isle

An island covered by wild jungles and mountains, home to the strangest creatures. Only the brave venture there. Those that do return bring tales of otherworldly encounters, strange items and daring escapes.

Ignis Primo

A mysterious island shrouded in fog and smoke. It’s the birthplace of the Prime Elemental Ignis Primo, the place where the big battle took place, as well as Ignis Primo’s resting place. There are some tales of people reaching the island, few tales of them returning and none that are considered anything but myth and lies.
