Karth Sarrowborn

The First Dragon Knight, The Dragon Slayer, and The Barer of the Light. These are all tittles of the Legendary hero Karth Sarrowborn.   Not much is know of his childhood, only that his tribe was that of Elves and Humans and that he was one of several charged is taking care of the eggs Vardin had gifted the tribe.   The next recored occurs two to three years latter when both eggs are said to have hatched. The first egg is said to have had a dragon of shimmering silver scales and the second to have one of shining gold. It is said that the gold dragon took an immediate liking to Karth, not wanting to leave his side.   The next recored seems to be from several years later when Karth is gifted the tittle of Dragon Knight by Vardin for showing great bravery in protecting his pepole and his dragon NightsBane is said to have received a blessing from Vardin as well, a shinning light in the center of its chest that would ward away the darkness.   Karth spent the next year fighting off the servants of Thrixx and recruiting more Dragon Knights to aid him in this battle
In the Year 30 Rs disaster strikes the world.   Thrixx had grown tired of her monsters being slain by the hands of the dragon knights. She turned to the under dark for inspiration and pulled from it a worm. The already evil creature became even more twisted and dark in her presence. This worm multiplied and festered in her domain, then she starved them. On a dark night with no moons, she released them out side of each tribe. The worms burrowed quickly under the ground and into the dragon stables. While the dragons slept their bodies where invaded by the worms. They began to shift and twist, their scales tossing their metallic sheen and their horns longer and devil like. Then they were filled with the worst humanity had to offer, Greed and Anger. Not every dragon was effected by the worms and began to fight off their now lost brothers and sisters. Many of the tribes were left in ruins but not completely destroyed. The few unaffected dragons that lived through the fight would soon leave the mortals as well. Some mortals now resented the creatures and found them just as at fault as their lost siblings. The metallic dragons would leave not because they were resented but in fear that they would one day succumb to thrixx and destroy the mortals.   Karths dragon NightBane was one of the dragons to have fallen victim to Thrixx'es worms, His golden scales turned a scarlet red and his once Nobel heart filled with hatred. He was NightBane no longer and become known as The Damons Maw.   After this event Karth vanishes from history for some time until 48 RS when he and three x dragon knights climbed a portion of The World Spine to reach the lair of The Damons Maw.   They did battle atop the peak of Shimmer high mountain in the end two of the three x dragon Knights where slain along with the Demons Maw. It is said that Karth gave a prayer to Vardin then thrust his arm into the chest of the dragon. When Karth removed his arm he clutched a bright glowing light in his hand.   The next recored of Karth shows him and the remaining X dragon knight traveling in search of something called The Well of Darkness, it appears they may have spent around five years in search of it before being guided there by a Silver dragon, the same silver dragon that had hatched with NightsBane. The records of what occurred at this well are mostly the incoherent ramblings of a long forgotten bard but the one reaming line of note is that Karth cast the light into the well branding and sealing Thrixx'es monsters away.   The last recored of Karth SarrowBorn is that he married the X dragon knight that he had been traveling with, a Shandra Quickfoot. The name quick foot has Halfing roots so she may have been a Halfling. They settled near where Diamanti would be settled in the future. Shandra is said to have given birth to one child, a Lukus Sarrowborn
