Homeland - Geological Territories 1-8

It's where this age started, truly. When the survivors came to all those years ago, Home was the only thing they had. They expanded across the territories and built the cities we all know now - Re'sul, Av'an, Ga'ral, the other towns and outposts. Together we're the Homeland, one of the major inhabited continents of Avan'ur. It's difficult to tell what the Homeland was like the First Age, but in the Past Age we were essential to all of Avan'ur. Now...now we have an even more important role to play.   Haz'a'ur, Master of Records, Library 1

Structure

While other cities have their own forms of governments and organization, The Children largely dictate how law, commerce, and logistics operate in the Homeland. The Children are the highest body of government in Homeland, although there is no single representative that has greater power than any other.

Public Agenda

We, the Children, now have a duty and responsibility to all of Avan'ur that cannot be understated. We hold the weight of the world on our shoulders, and must fight to restore Avan'ur with every waking breath.   Elia'en'sylvia - One of The Children, addressing The Children in the year 238 of the Current Age

Assets

Homeland is not abundant with natural resources, but The Green Horizen, mines, and nearby coasts provide the continent with its essential needs.

History

Homeland is one of the few truly civilized continents in the wake of the transition from the Past Age to the current age. While many records have been lost or destroyed, the Children have been able to draw some conclusions about the general history of Homeland from the Past Age and the First Age. In the Past Age, Homeland was a fairly normal civilization, but played particular importance in managing trade between the other currently civilized continents.
