Vlad Petrovich

Vlad is an enormous man standing about 2 metres tall, with a thick torso that seems to be more muscle than fat. He has greying black hair, a thick moustache and perpetually a cigarette in his mouth.
While ostensibly a criminal in the eyes of the law, Vlad has become somewhat of a substitute for the absentee government for the lower and middle-class Slavic communities. He protects them from other gangs that may try take advantage of them. Helps people send their kids to school, imports cheap (illegal) medicine and sponsors community events. He even helped take in the smuggled people Ilya Maglavich saved at the docks. He is deeply dedicated to his people, defending them with brute force, if need be, and avenging them if he couldn’t, even going to extreme lengths to do so.
But do not mistake him for a ‘good’ man. Vlad is a killer, earning his livelihood on human misery and suffering, peddling in drugs, flesh and stolen goods. He is a fighter, following his goals with ruthless efficiency, but at the same time minimising the suffering he causes.
