Most people know Adalina, Luisa, and Evelina as the owners of Trinity, a popular nightclub in the Entertainment Quarter. Less well known is the sisters' business of buying and selling the memories and fates of others. For a price, they can alter someone past and future.
Each one of the sisters seems to have their own distinct personality, despite being identical triplets. Adalina seems more focused on what is to come, planning for any number of contingencies, while Evelina daydreams wistfully of days long past. Luisa sits somewhere in the middle, far more focused on the now.
The truth is, only Luisa is real. While she was born a triplet, her two sisters died shortly after birth. The Adaline and Evelina that others see today are manifestations of Luisa's abilities. Even Luisa is unaware of the truth, having changed her own memories to make her believe that her sisters were still alive.
