When Aida Richardson travelled back in time to prevent Helix Labs kidnapping Veronica Change and performing experiments on her, Aida caused her own timeline to collapse, snuffing out millions of lives in an instant.
But that wasn't the end. Fragments of that timeline, isolated remnants of what once was, floated in the void outside spacetime. Then, when Aida of the new time began to remember the events that had transpired in the old timeline, those isolated fragments began to coalesce until they became their own entity. At first, it could just flicker in and out of realspace, but eventually, the entity learned how to control its manifestations.
As a creature formed from dozens upon dozens of individuals, the entity, now referring to itself as 'Raymond Diggory', has yet to discover who or what it is. All it knows for certain is that it wants to find Aida Richardson and make her pay.
