A former military man, Desmond Murphy was discharged for subordinating after leading an unauthorised attack on a town that was harbouring enemy forces. Riding in on motorcycles, Murphy and his men massacred the entire village and burned it to the ground. Now he works as a hunter, and while he's amicable with going after the occasional deer or buffalo, he's far more interested in more exotic prey; wolves, bears... and humans.
He takes a sadistic pleasure in the hunt, the thrill of wearing down his target to exhaustion, before finally confronting them and savouring their fear.
Murphy and his crew work on behalf of the Dagda, capturing or eliminating his enemies in equal measure. In this role, they present themselves as whatever is needed to get to their prey, whether it be bounty hunters, mercenaries, a biker gang, or mere poachers.
