Covenant of Light

A small religious group, the Covenant is devoted to spreading the word of unity, of peace, and generosity to all within the City. On more than one occasion, those that have come into contact with the practitioners of the faith find themselves touched by the experience, and feel a desire to tell others.

Gift of Generosity

When you are touched by a Prophet, either by his hand, his words, or spirit; roll +[tags relating to generosity, empathy, etc]. On a hit, you are consumed by the thought of community and generosity. On a 10+, choose two traits below. On 7-9; choose one trait below.

• Heart of Gold: You are driven to be generous, sincere, and friendly. You take heart-of-gold-1.
• Defender of the Gift: Provide succour to the weak and downtrodden, preserve all that the Light has brought into this world. You take the protector-of-the-light-1 status.
• Speaker of Unity: You now count as a Prophet, and others must make this roll when you interact with them. When other Prophets suffer at the hands of another, you are aware of it and have a general sense of where in the City it took place.

On a miss, you may act as your wish, but gain can mark Attention on one of your themes if you immediately and violently attack a Prophet or member of his entourage.
If you reach status-6 from Heart of Gold or Defender of the Gift, immediately replace one of your themes with a new theme matching your change of character.
