Black Ice Farlands

Being one of the most hostile places in the north, the Black Ice Farlands is an ice desert that lies north of The Winterwoods. What lies beyond the desert is unknown...

Geography

Most of the landscape in the Black Ice Farlands consist of [url=]black ice covered in snow. The frosty winds are strong in this area, with it's speed reaching up to 20 m/s (46 mhp). Despite the strong winds, the landscape isn't entirely flat: huge snow dunes make the area more having more hills than one would expect. The snow on these dunes are hard snow, which is almost as solid as rock. Because of this, lots of caves have been digged underground.

Fauna & Flora

As the surface is extremely hostile to living creatures, most creatures have adapted themselves to live underground. These creatures withstand cold and has the ability to dig. Aditionally, many of the creatures have dark vision. Other creatures live above ground, developing fur to withstand the gales.
As for flora, there are some plants that have adapted to the Arctic environment. In certain areas, one can find moss that some animals tend to eat, while underground, there are unique vegetation that grows for the creatures to harvest.

Natural Resources

Other than the creatures and the flora, there is not much of natural resources in this area. The only thing that can be harvested here, is the Ice.
