The Red Oak Inn is a little inn along The Nuurun River. The inn is built close to The Bato Mountain Range. The inn is built in red oak trees. That is why the inn is named The Red Oak Inn. The inn runs by a loving couple and their children. The Red Oak Inn has been passed down for seven generations. Their busiest season is autumn and spring. That is when all the tourists and locals want to visit The Bato Mountain Range.


Sensory & Appearance

The first thing you notice when you enter the Red Oak Inn is the homely feeling. It always smells something good from the kitchen. Usually, it is newly baked bread or soup. The whole inn gives off a warm and welcoming feeling. Some people notice the carvings around the inn first when they walk through the doors. There is always a lit fireplace during the fall and winter seasons. It makes the whole inn feel warm and cosy.       The Red Oak Inn has a lot of seating areas down by the entry. There are lots of blankets and pillows on the sofas. You can always spot some of the guests sitting by the sofas and reading books or warming themselves by the fire. The windows of the inn look out towards The Bato Mountain Range, The Nuurun River and the forest. In the spring the whole inn is decorated with flowers. The owners of the inn decorate the inn with rowan berries and spruce branches during winter. And during autumn, the inn is decorated in fall colours like red, yellow and orange.         Sometimes music is played in the inn. Especially during autumn and spring, when they get the most visitors. In the winter, they instead have various cooking competitions. And in the summer they celebrate various holidays. Therefore, they only employ bards during the spring and fall seasons.


Arkitektur

The Inn is a three-storey cabin. It is all built with red oak and stone accents. There are a lot of exposed beams throughout the inn. In the front of the inn is a big porch. Many of the guests eat dinner or breakfast on it. The roof of the inn is in wood. The doors are simple with beautiful oak leave carvings on them. You can spot some carves oak leaves throughout the inn. You can find them close to the doorframes, windows, walls, and pillars. Around the porch is a carved railing with forest animals on it. Outside the inn is an indoor stable. The stables also have carved oak leaves on the stable doors.


Tourism

The inn's busiest seasons are spring and fall. That is when all the locals and tourists visit The Bato Mountain Range the most. Many of the tourists stay at The Red Oak inn. The inn has a lot of locals that come by to eat dinner or breakfast at the inn. The Red Oak Inn sometimes have some merchants and seafarers that stay at their inn. Most of the merchants that stay at their inn travel by the Nuurun River. Just like the seafarers.       The inn is most famous for its food and location. The inn is close to The Bato Mountain Range and The Nuurun River. Many tourists love the environment and the scenery. The food is local food that the inn has cooked for seven generations. The inn is also famous for its homely feeling and cosiness. The inn has guided tours through The Bato Mountain Range and bird watching in the forest.
