Hol

English

Written by FirethornDragon

The Hol is a big cat that looks dangerous. Many believe it to be with its sharp teeth and claws. But the Hol is a gentle animal that looks like a predator. Many think that it eats meat because of how it looks. In reality, the Hol only eats fruit, grass and vegetables. Its favourite food is sweet fruits. So, if you ever encounter a Hol, remember that it will not attack you unless you attack it first.

Additional Information

Perception and Sensory Capabilities

The Hol has better hearing than eyesight. It can hear four times better than humans. A Hol is also swift and moves quickly through the forest and cliffs. They can jump up to 2 meters. They look dangerous with their sharp teeth and claws, but it is because the Hol has adapted to look like that. Many other scary creatures live in the Hol's surroundings that have made them evolve to look more dangerous than they are, to protect themself.       The female and the male both have bright orange, yellowy-coloured fur with black spots. There are not many creatures that can outrun a Hol. It is one of the fastest-living creatures on land. The Hol prefers to live in the forest and around mountain cliffs. They are good at finding water and places to hide. They are good climbers and usually sleep on tree branches. The Hol is a very playful animal, especially in water. They are also good swimmers and divers.       A Hol also has a good memory. They never forget a face. They are also good connoisseurs of people. They will never approach someone willingly unless they feel that they can trust you. Like most animals around Aurin, the Hol sense people's intentions through their energy. If they trust you, the Hol will approach you very playfully. They are kind and gentle creatures.
