The land of Aurgalia is in crisis. The gods, who have protected the land through the millennia since its creation, have weakened – or possibly they’ve abandoned the people entirely. Blessed Children are rarer and rarer, and many citizens have never even seen a miracle. Worse still for those who follow the old ways, the influence of the cult of Devar is spreading, and the goblin/orc war has been spilling out of the wastelands into neighboring territories. The Conclave of Clerics has called a synod in the capital city of Caspi to discuss how the pantheon can be restored. Representatives of all major sects have been invited. This will be your chance to investigate and perhaps even increase the standing of your own god and church – and maybe even yourself in the process, if that sort of thing interests you.
