Aureole Chromata's Journey

Aureole is a planet divided by its very nature: It is tidally locked, meaning one side of the planet will forever face the sun, and the other eternally away. Sunside Aureole is not the same as its opposite. Magic pervades the very world, from the trillions of prismatic shatters in orbit to the mystical creatures that lurk on the dark side of the planet, to the phantom lights which float in below the waves of the Crown seas. All is not peaceful in Aureole, however. The Crown Territories is locked in a savage war with the Sunside Empire, with no end in sight, or even memory of the beginning.   This is the story of a young woman whose struggle to survive becomes something greater.
