Fal'gar
Basic Information
Anatomy
A massive beast that has black writing tentacles coming from its hollow eye sockets on the front of its face, with its true eyes numbering in the hundreds on the side. A massive leviathan like jaw that has teeth that can range to the size of a full grown man to that of dire bear. It's skin is covered in black scales that only the most powerful of weapons have ever been able to pierce. Its tail is that of a whale with four massive humanoid arms lined on its flank. Each gill slit could fit a horse. It's bones are heavy compared to that of a fish, and its brain is exceedingly big.
Genetics and Reproduction
At times through a Fal'gar's life it feels a need to reproduce more of its kind. When that happens it releases a spore through tiny holes in the tentacles that sprout from the sockets in its eyes. These spores may travel hundreds of miles before it finds a suitable aquatic host. When a spore infects a host one of two things will happen. Nothing, or the host will slowly make a transformation into a very small Fal'gar and then begin to grow and grow based on how much it eats.
Ecology and Habitats
They live in the deepest depths of aquatic planets, the plane of elemental water, and the oceans of Terra.
Dietary Needs and Habits
They eat anything they can find. Whales, krakens, and other massive game all make up its appetite.
Additional Information
Perception and Sensory Capabilities
The eyes of the beast are primarily used for tracking electro-magnetic signals in the water not dissimilar to a shark and have very poor traditional sight. However, it's sense of smell is at an apex.
