Team stronger than bunch of individuals is a nice thing to have, but at its center lies experienced Strategist, who is able to give the right calls under many, if not any circumstances.

The Strategist's word has a big weight when it comes to taking risks during Raid even though their impact in the combat is not at the same level as other more focused Raiders.
Do not underestimate the value of a precisely aimed hit.
You may wield the weapon, but they are the ones knowing where to strike best.

Description and the job

The Strategist is a Raider who decided to focus a sizeable amount of time on studying the terrains, biomes, species, and varying interactions between them all.
On top of that their personality inspires people and emanates an aura of trust.
Strategists makes preparations even before the group goes onto the Raid. At the Strategists hall lies table containing map of the Atocitera and other maps of areas the specific Atocites fly through.
Leaders of raiding groups create a plan to meet the commissions from Planners using wood miniatures of commonly found species and potential prey.
During the Raid itself, Strategists follow up prepared plan and make variations on the spot if needed.
When it comes to combat, Strategists know how to fight and defend themselves. Even though they may not be as efficient as other, more focused Raiders.

Training and receiving of the profession

The Strategist is not a profession Raiders can freely focus to train in. This path is offered by Planners to Raiders at a suitably young age.
Raiders who accept and decide to take this offered path need to study all aspects of Atocitera even at the cost of training with weapons. Their first-hand practice with the learned knowledge helps them to remain somewhat efficient.

Difference from other Raiders

The Strategists use every ounce of available information before making a decision. The methods they use are often mimicked by others as long as it remains the best option.
While Strategists used a lot of their time studying everything they could, other Raiders were either practicing and honing their style, or straight up writing down the books and scrolls for strategists to study.
