Return of the day

Description

Due to the elliptic orbit of Atocitera around its gas giant Solkerror, there are up to two weeks in each month completely without the sunlight. The people know that they will return to the sun, but still celebrate when Atocitera leaves Solkerror's shadow and bathes in the sunlight again.
The celebration during Return of the day also serves as a closure over the last month, and a transition into a new one.

Occurrence

The Return of the day happens every 50 days after the weeks of the constant night, during the night of the last day in the month, and before the sunrise. The sunrise is predicted both by stars and by the appearance of the lighter edges on Solkerror.
Luckily the Planners skill to calculate into the future helped create a reliable calendar including the deep nights and Returns of the days. They constantly observe changes in the facts they used to create the calendar and change it accordingly.

Celebration

During the night of the Return of the day, people gather on the Floor of claims and Raiders tell their stories from completely lightless raids to remind them of the scary life they all endured. Halfway through the night, if the supplies allow, they each move to enjoy a small feast together. After the feast, other Raiders continue with the stories until the sunrise
As the sun starts rising, the Planners step out and congratulate everyone for notable deeds during the last month. Summarize the overall situation at the Atocite. And finish up with their plans and expectations for the following month.
