Origin

When The Cataclysm  spread the Corruption many tried to resist or flee out of fear.
The Corruption had destructive effects on any gods existing in the age before the Cataclysm, and desperate people got angry because of the sudden silence of their gods, so the old religions fell apart in a matter of weeks.

After the fall of the Patheon, the priests and influential religious figures who served the previous Patheon had nothing to do, so they formed the Pleasers of Corruption.
They started praising the Corruption as if it was a new, more powerful god who defeated and chased away the previous ones. The weakness the Corruption brought was considered as a sacrifice one must make and overcome to become stronger and worthy of ascension.

Ideology and customs

Pleasers of Corruption believed that the weakness caused by it is temporal and is merely just a trial of their new god. The whispers that came with the Corruption were considered sacred and were to be followed to the tiniest detail.
The weakness caused by Corruption was mandatory to be presented as trial one face in the name of the Corruption while any visible mutations were considered as rewards from the Corruption for faithful service.
For an easy presentation of how Corruption affects one's body, the believers wore only humble clothes, always ripped off to bring more attention to the effect of Corruption.
The believers often exposed themselves to the raw Corruption to receive their reward for serving their god. They did so because the exposure to raw Corruption strengthened both the voice whispering to them and the speed at which Corruption affected their bodies. Often causing various mutations on them.
Participation in these Corrupted baths was indiscriminate, everyone was welcome to join, and the Pleasers often tried to use upcoming opportunities to recruit new members.
The believed fate for all Pleasers was to join their god as they followed its voice. While it is true that the end results of Corruption influence ended up in hollow shells without any humanity or conscience, the mind of the Pleasers was most likely erased by the animal instincts of the monstrosities they became.
The more the Pleasers exposed themselves to the Corruption and listened to its voice, the more monstrous they were becoming and the less they cared for anyone outside of their religion. Even to a degree when they became aggressive towards the non-believers near the end of their religion. That combined with many of their members becoming Corrupted monstrosities ensured the slow end of the religion.

Structure and hierarchy

The Pleasers of Corruption did not have any hierarchy. In the eyes of Corruption, everyone was equal and the voice of Corruption led everyone.
The only way someone would earn more respect would be to overcome a more severe weakness or by accumulating more mutations.
But no matter the respect earned, everyone was expected to work equally for the goal of pleasing the Corruption by spreading it among as many as possible.

Assets and resources

The Pleasers belonged to all various religions before the collapse of the Patheon, thanks to that they had at their disposal considerable riches.
However all the wealth has been used to built shrines, or for redesigning, reworking and redecorating of already existing religious places, arts and statues.
Due to the general fear of Corruption, the new believers were usually from the poor and desperate. Hence the wealth of the Pleasers was diminishing over time.

End of the Pleasers

The Pleasers ended few years before the The grand migration. 
Their end came in form of a low amount of new recruits to offset the high amount of believers who turned into various monstrosities due to the effect of Corruption.
While these monstrosities were used as part of armies by the corrupted lords and kings, once the people saw what became of the believers, they were very reluctant to join. So 6 years after the Cataclysm, the Pleasers of Corruption died out as the last believer gave up on his humanity and became a Corrupted monstrosity.
